April 2026: Stories that Stick - The Power of Persuasive Personal Narrative

Professor Catherine Savini’s workshop examined the role of storytelling as a critical competency for entrepreneurs. The session emphasized the impact well- constructed narratives have and their ability to be more memorable and persuasive than statistics alone. Students systematically analyzed exemplary narratives to identify the techniques that contribute to their effectiveness.

They developed their own narratives and gained a better understanding of the power of storytelling. Through storytelling, individuals can reflect on their experiences, articulate core values and priorities, cultivate meaningful interpersonal connections, and reflect on their professional and personal growth.
